What is a keylogger? A keylogger is a hidden program which you install on your computer without even knowing it. All the details it collects are sent to the scammer via email. How can I receive a keylogger? Normally via email. You may receive a email such with a file attached to it which they claim to be a program that gives you free credits or an alteration that they've drawn and they want you to show you it. If you don't know the sender of isn't someone that you completely 100% trust, do not download the file. Another way of receiving a keylogger is via a messenger program such as MSN. The scammer may try to send you a file, similar to the one in the description above, claiming that it gives you free credits, etc, do not accept this file. Block and delete the person immediately. Never add anyone on Habbo to your messenger program. Most of them only want to chat but you can never be too sure. What do I do if I get a keylogger? Stop everything you are doing. If you have logged into Habbo whilst the keylogger was installed on your computer then the keylogger has already collected your username and pass but may not have sent it to the scammer yet. The best thing do to is send a call for help saying "I think I have a keylogger. Please give me a safety ban. Thanks." If you don't get a reply within 15 minutes, try again, but don't flood the call for help! All this means is that your account will be banned for a while so no-one can access your account. This includes you and the scammer. However, many people request safety bans when it isn't necessary and they sometimes take a while to be un-banned due to high demand of people wanting their account un-banned.
